The 6th Annual Fallen Marine Memorial Run

The 6th Annual Fallen Marine Memorial Run is being held at the Trib Total Media Amphitheatre in Station Square on August 27, 2011! Registration starts at 8am, the ride will leave the Trib Total Media Amphitheatre at approx 11:30am and head to Jay’s Sports Bar at Southpointe for refreshments, etc. We will leave Jay’s Sports Bar at approx 3:30pm and return to the Amphitheatre for games, a chinese auction, live bands, etc. Hope to see you there!!!!

Pirate Parrot's Cruise for a Cure

The Pirate Parrot, in partnership with Mosites Motorsports and Pirates Charities, is going to hold his very own 2nd annual charity bike ride, leaving Philadelphia on July 29th and arriving in Pittsburgh on July 31st.

The 350-mile trek will span the entire Commonwealth in an effort to raise awareness and funding for Prostate Cancer Research. But the Pirate Parrot can't do it alone! As a result of the generosity of donors during the 2010 Cruise for a Cure, the Parrot raised $6,685. Please help the Parrot do even better in 2011!

You can sponsor the Parrot during his ride either by making a one-time flat contribution or by pledging as little as $.05 per-mile! All monies raised are tax deductible and will benefit The Western Pennsylvania Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Altoona Event - Saturday, July 30, 2011

11am - 1pm at Altoona Giant Eagle (Logan Town Center)

The Pirate Parrot will be joined by friends from the Altoona Curve to help promote the Pirate Parrot's Cruise for a Cure to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer. All fans who donate will receive either an autographed Parrot Cruise for a Cure card, Inflatable Pirate Parrot doll or a Pirate Parrot Cruise for a Cure bobblehead based on their donation amount. Grant Jackson and Kent Tekulve will also be on hand signing autographs for fans.

State College Event - Saturday, July 30, 2011

6:30pm - end of game at Medlar Field and Lubrano Park

The Pirate Parrot will be performing during the State College Spikes game against the Lowell Spinners. All fans who donate will receive either an autographed Parrot Cruise for a Cure card, Inflatable Pirate Parrot doll or a Pirate Parrot Cruise for a Cure bobblehead based on their donation amount. Grant Jackson and Kent Tekulve will also be on hand signing autographs for fans.
